Beautiful Elestial Quartz from Mexico Elestial Quartz is also known as Crocodile, Jacare, or Skeletal Quartz. Elestials grow in pockets; all crystals in one pocket will have related characteristics but do not have the same characteristics as elestials found in other pockets, even if they are only inches apart. Many, but not all elestials, will have etchings, many are built in skeletal form, i.e. you can see the building blocks and plates inside, and many will have double terminated 'herkimer' type crystals attached.
The Quartz itself does not fluoresce, but the inclusions inside the quartz fluoresce. Some are golden, some look like opal.
