Agate Geodes
from Brazil

Brazilian Agate Geode Polished Half -- Mostly grey blue with a bluer ring around center crystals and greenish ring around outside. Weighs 2.3 ounces and measures 1.5 x 1.75 x 1.5".

Brazilian Agate Geode Polished Half -- Pale but nice banding around cavity, lovely crystals inside cavity. Measures 1.75 x 2 x .75" and weighs 1.6 ounces.

Brazilian Agate Geode Polished Half -- Lovely piece - large crystals in cavity, nice pattern. Measures 1.5 x 1.5 x 1.5" and weighs 2.5 ounces.

Thundereggs are a rhyolite shell filled with agate, jasper, and/or crystals. The basic difference between thundereggs and geodes are that geodes are hollow and thundereggs are solid. Both have rhyolite shells; both were formed in air bubbles created by volcanic activity.
