| This is a fantastic piece of petrified wood from Fry Canyon, Utah. It has a lot of nice bark on one side. The inside is mainly black. Fry Canyon wood from this particular area seldom shows grain. On the side opposite the bark are several areas of little clear crystals - small areas, but the crystals are nice, easily visible, and shiny. This is a great piece, solid, and heavy. It weighs 3 lb 12.2 ounces and measures 6 x 4 x 2.75".

| Jasperized wood from north of Kremmling, Colorado. Beautiful greenish black and mustard yellow with nice bark on one side. Solid. Quite a few slabs can come from this piece or cut down the middle for nice bookends. It measures 5.5 x 4 x 5.5" and weighs 6 pounds.

| This is quite rare. It is Wiggins Fork agatized wood. Wiggins Fork is in north central Wyoming and material from there all has to be packed out. That's why it's rare. It's found alongside agate very much like good Yellowstone River, Montana agate but you never see it either, since it has to be packed out. This material is water worn, even though I dug it out of the ground - obviously at one time, millions of years ago, this area was all covered in water. Piece measures 4.5 x 2.5 x 1.25" and weighs 9.7 ounces. sold

| This is petrified wood from the Snowflake, Arizona area, just south of the Petrified Forest. A beautiful piece; very woody looking on one side. The other side looks as though it were laying in wet soil and partially rotted before it petrified - there are small pebbles embedded in it. One side has a nice little hole in it about the size of a dime - possibly made by an insect or worm when it was still wood. Colors range from a light sandstone to white. Some Snowflake wood is agatey - I don't think this one is. It's a cool piece as is. It weighs 3 lb 11.7 ounces and measues 7.75 x 5.5 (large end) x 1.5 (small end) x 2.5".

| Really neat piece of petrified wood from the Snowflake, Arizona area. Woody looking all around - top has some dried fungus from being on the surface of the ground - will scrape or scrub off if you don't like it. Back of the piece is pale tan and grey. Top has a really nice, well defined knot. Excellent specimen. Measures 9.5 x 3 x 3" and weighs 3 lb 11.1 ounces.
