| Fossil TURITELLA with base in matrix from Bordeaux, France. Miocene epoch. Nicely cleaned. The photo flash whitened this more than it really is. All surfaces are more mustard yellow tinged than white tinged (see left side photo of double turitella below for nearly perfect coloring). Actual fossil measures 2.5" long and weighs 3.1 ounces. Base measures 2.5 x 1.5 x 7/8".
