This doesn't say, but I would say this book is for ages 10 to 14, a little younger if the child can read well, or if the parent reads the book with the child. It's a good book, very informative without becoming involved. Lots of photos and drawings, necessary to keep the child's interest. It includes quite a few things that I didn't know myself.
